It all begins with a lonely embalmer.
The idea to create a podcast of classic horror tales with original foley work stems from a deep love and appreciation of horror comics of the 40s, 50s, and 60s. Those pre-comic code books are the foundation for all that is the Semi-Gelatinous Literary Society (SGLS), and we hope Elmer would be at home with friends the Crypt Keeper, the Vault Keeper, the Old Witch, and Uncle Creepy.
While we are currently planning on producing horror stories that are in the public domain published prior to 1923, we are open to submissions. The SGL will consider any submissions of 10,000 words or less. Email Elmer at Semigelatinousliterarysociety@gmail.com to share your ghoulish work.
